What's on
There's more happening at the Tav than just our famous jukebox!
It is true - our vintage jukebox carries quite the selection! But to add an extra element of liveliness, we also host a calendar of regular events. We're adding to this all the time, with special openings for Remembrance Sunday, Christmas Carolling and much more. Please follow our facebook or instagram pages for announcements. But to give you a flavour of what is on regularly at the Tav:

Pound off pints
Every Wednesday we open for the week ahead, and to help ease you in we offer all of our draught cask & keg beers a pound cheaper than usual! That's a pound off all tapped beers, including Hooky, Thatchers, Pravha, even Peroni & Guinness!
When:
Wednesdays - 4pm till 7pm

Half price wine
Thursday is a day we look forward to each week as it's the return of a witney favourite, 'half price wine' night. Whether cosying up by the open fire or relaxing in our secluded barn yard, a glass of quality wine in hand is a sure way to get you in the mood for the weekend.
When:
Thursdays - 4pm till 9pm

Open mic night
On the first Sunday of every month we invite local musician friends to host an open mic night by the fire. All comers welcome to get up and play or just sing a long. There's a pint (or two) in it for the performers to say thanks. FREE ENTRY
When:
Sunday 1st December - 7.00pm onwards

Quiz night
Round up your friends and put together an unbeatable team. The monthly Tav general knowledge quiz is fast becoming the most challenging and entertaining night in town. There's a prize for the winning team and a 'Play Your Cards Right' prize gamble for those in last place. £1 per person to enter, with all proceeds going to Macmillan cancer support. Teams of six people
When:
Sunday 15th December - 7.00pm onwards

Sporting events
We have no interest in being a sports bar but we do put the big screen up over the fireplace for major sporting events. So if you're a fan of the Rugby or Football World Cups (or even the odd Grand Prix), check out our facebook page to see what we're screening and when.
Next up:
2025 Six Nations - 31st January - 15th March

Maxfest
We love live music and are proud to host Witney's longest-running music festival. Maxfest is a celebration of live music featuring local bands playing covers, originals and plenty of tunes to sing and dance along to. It is a musical day like no other and the highlight of our year. Squeeze in early to find a seat (not that you'll be sat down - too much dancing to do!)
When:
Every Easter Sunday - 3pm til late
